We’re so excited to share our journey with you. Our story began in a way neither of us could have predicted. While on a work trip to San Diego, fate intervened in the form of a chance encounter. Harrison, captivated by her beauty, invited Kristen to dinner – hoping she’d say yes despite his less-than-smooth approach.

Who doesn’t like being hit on at work? Luckily, she did, and what began as a spontaneous date turned into a lifelong adventure.

The next year was a whirlwind of deployments and time spent apart. Harrison was stationed in Georgia, and Kristen was in Tennessee. Despite the physical distance and the demands of our careers, we stayed committed to each other through countless phone calls, late-night messages, and brief visits whenever we could. Each separation only made our bond stronger and more resilient.

After navigating the challenges of long-distance, we made the decision to leave the military and focus on our future together. We turned our attention to the exciting task of finding a place where we could both start anew. Through the process, it became clear that our new home needed to be a place where we could both feel rooted and fulfilled.

So, in April of 2024, we packed up what little we had and drove thirty-seven hours across the country. Our move to California was not just a change of address but a bold leap into a vibrant new lifestyle, filled with growth, adventure, and the joy of building a life together. We navigated the challenges of raising our energetic new puppy, starting new careers, and building a new community in Newport Beach, CA.
